When to irrigate, how much nitrogen to apply, how to pass CAP satellite checks without surprises, and what to record in the logbook: every decision of the season can now rest on data that updates every few days.

What you can do today

Four applications that work today, each with its European or Spanish data source and the real status it has right now.

Satellite-guided irrigation

The Spanish SiAR network publishes reference evapotranspiration from more than 500 stations through an official API. We combine it with crop coefficients derived from Sentinel-2. The result is an irrigation recommendation in liters per hectare.

Nitrogen management

The FEGA-ITACYL program offers eight public fertilization APIs, with access tokens also available to private companies. Combined with the real crop vigor seen by satellite, they help adjust fertilization field by field.

CAP area monitoring (AMS)

Spain monitors CAP aid by satellite across the whole country except the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla: a traffic light per parcel from Sentinel-1 and 2, plus geotagged photos for appeals. That traffic light can be replicated before the official notice arrives.

Digital farm logbook

The digital logbook is voluntary as a general rule (Royal Decree 34/2025). The firm obligation is the electronic pesticide record, postponed to January 1, 2027. There is a real window to arrive with a working system.

How we put it to work

Each application is delivered as a concrete solution, connected to the official data sources and integrated with your own records, whether you run a cooperative, an irrigation community, or a food company. These four are already defined:

Zone-by-zone irrigation within a single field

The SiAR network measures how much water the crop loses through evaporation and transpiration (the reference evapotranspiration, or ETo), and Sentinel-2 sees the plant's real vigor with NDVI, the index that measures how much green leaf there is. Combining the two, the field stops being watered evenly: the system splits it into zones and computes the liters each one needs. You water more where the crop needs it and less where it already has enough.

The crop signals stress before you notice it

A dry spell, an irrigation fault, or a pest shows up as a drop in vigor that the satellite catches before you can see it on the ground. The system compares each parcel with its own season and with what was normal on earlier dates, and flags the unusual drops. You get an alert with the exact spot to go check, instead of walking the whole farm.

A field logbook that fills itself from the satellite series

Each irrigation, each crop stage, and each key date is backed by that day's image: the Sentinel-2 series documents how the parcel evolves without you writing it down by hand. When the electronic pesticide record becomes mandatory in 2027, the system already holds the geotagged history, ready to export. Less paperwork, and traceability that holds up to an inspection.

Where we have done it before

These are three of the most recent projects in a longer track record. The team that today forms T3 AISAT designed and built them within European and national R&D programs:
