Open license, open models

EUMETSAT core data is CC BY 4.0 with commercial use since February 2025, and ECMWF publishes its AI model (AIFS) openly, with a 51-member probabilistic ensemble.

What we build for you

A forecasting service for your plant or portfolio: irradiance 0 to 4 hours ahead from the real movement of clouds seen by MTG; probabilistic forecasts days ahead with AIFS, for bids and maintenance; and storm alerts supported by the lightning detector. This data went into service recently and almost nobody has packaged it in Spain yet. Delivered where you decide: through an API, in your SCADA, or in your market platform.

Irradiance for the next hours by tracking clouds

Meteosat Third Generation photographs Europe every 10 minutes. The system follows the real movement of the clouds, projects where they are heading, and turns that cover into irradiance, the solar energy that will reach each square meter, 0 to 4 hours ahead over your plant. You see the forecast output before the cloud reaches the panels.

A generation ramp alert

When a cloud front is about to cover the plant, the system warns of the ramp: the sharp rise or drop in power and the rough time it arrives. Your operation gets ahead of it, adjusts, and avoids the surprise. A ramp seen with minutes to spare is the difference between reacting and arriving late.

A series to match output and market

The forecast is delivered as a time series ready for your SCADA or your market platform. With it you match the forecast output to your sale commitments and cut the imbalances that the power market penalizes. Weather data becomes a better-tuned bid.
